I was recently staying in Shoreham -by-Sea, and Googled Fish n Chips shops within walk distance from where i was staying at. This one popped up, i went in and ordered Scampi and Chips (Curry Sauce) and a Cod Roe Fishcake "Take away" The Scampi was spot on as was the Cod Roe. Everything was still nice and hot when i got back to our Airbnb. The food was good, decent price and friendly staff.

Hands down the best fish and chips in the Brighton and Hove area. The food is cooked fresh to order, the batter sticks well to the fish and is perfectly crispy, the chips are delicious and the portion sizes are generous. Well worth the journey to Shoreham.

Excellent new fish & chip takeaway. Had a beautifully fried Haddock and a standard portion of chips. Portions are huge and everything was cooked to perfection. Add on a sauce/side for just 45p. Highly recommended for take-out. I wouldn't know about delivery. I'd rather collect and then I know it's really fresh. I have a 5-minute drive, and the meal was still piping hot and the batter didn't stick to the chips!

I was new to the area and looked for proper food neae the hospital. It is a 7minute walk from the hospital :) I chanced upon Buckinghams. It is along the road, has a big signage -- it is a clean fish and chip shop! The staff/owner was very lovely and helped me pick my order. They were on it! I had the large cod cooked to perfection. Served with a wedge of lemon. Salt and vinegar on the side if you fancy. They had seating outside where I enjoyed my meal. Sun shining, cool wind, awesome food, warm tummy, happy me. The owner threw in a can of energy drink for me -- thank you for that sir, it really helped me! Cutlery included for my take away! I am a very satisfied customer! They accept card payments. There is seating inside the shop and they kindly offered me to sit in but I was happy to bask under the sun outside. You can park near and wait for your order and then pop back in your car and go. :)

Our new go to chip shop! Me and my family have tried a range of food from here from nuggets, fish, burgers etc and it has all been super tasty. Everything is cooked to order and you can taste the freshness. The portions are HUGE and well worth the price! 100% recommend. Inside is spotlessly clean and fresh looking. Will definitely be our regular chip shop from now on!
